new work

yesterday was my first day for my new job.... i'm so excited i ended up late! hahahaha... actually i don't know what to expect in that company all i think about is the pay and it's very near my place... 10 miles!!! the place is pretty laid back.. and there are only four people in the lab... 2 tech and 2 chemist including me....so it's pretty boring....compared to my old work... well i'll get used to it... and it's easier and less stress...another good this is that they got a small gym where they have tread mills...punch bag...and whatever stuffs... i think i'll stick with this job for a while or maybe i'll try to enjoy it... cause it's day shift too.. i feel normal again...

damn it!

friday was like graduation day for me... finally i don't have to work on that company anymore... sharing my work with such a bitch is just freaking stressful...

saturday was slack off day for me... all i did was ate chicken wings and sleep all day...

sunday paddled for almost 3 hours and our family had an early dinner or late lunch at a chinese restaurant which made me feel drowsy cause it packed with MSG.... on the way home my mom asked me to drop by costco to get some fruits then at the entrance i saw the canon rebel xsi kit for just 699.99... eventhough i dont have any plans to get a camera yet since i'm still waiting for my bills i ended up getting it.....after getting some fruits, meats and whatever stuffs I ended up with a bill of 900 bucks.... and they dont accept credit cards so there goes my paycheck....

finally the long beach viewsonic race is over and the good thing is we got medals in most of our divisions...we got bronze on women's, bronze on men's, bronze on master's, bronze on division 3 and a gold on division 1 though we didn't get anything for division 1 which is C boat(fun boat) which is for the newbies and recreational paddles we all had a great weekend... and i must say saturday was like heaven for us cause most of our boats finished first on all races....and it feels good to beat san diego on that heat in our men's division because it's the national team little did i know that they sneaked in some girls in the boat so on the finals they won and we got the third place and second was taken by dragon warriors which is the team that we are hosting for this event... and for out blue boat we got gold despite of some odd paddlers in the line up we still got the first with a big lead...we could celebrate for now... but we only got 10 more weeks before san francisco race... i got a lot of pounds to shed and more endurance training to do and so as for the team...

finally

finally i got an offer for a new job.. i don't know when will i submit my resignation letter... i'll just wait for some more detail about the new job then i'll quit my present job.... wohooo!

today sucks...

too tired from the training

my boat flipped over while i'm doing the OC1 time trial
10 secs shy from the 1min 40 sec cut off
still sleepy from work last night...
which made me buy a shoe because i'm pissed (now that sounds gay) well it's for paddling anyway...
well at least i finally got my buff wear... it's just an overpriced bandana.. for 21 bucks...
now i'm just waiting for my culinary boner t-shirt from top chef...
it's only five PM and i think my day is over...just too tired...

i finally cleaned my car...

after 4 months without car wash i decided to clean my car... since it's 4th of july all i did was clean the car grilled some bbq and oysters and then eat!!! and had some kirin light...and i'm happy i can't drink as much anymore...cause i've been trying to live healthy as a result my nose haven't bled for 2 months...and that's it...

what a trip!

this day is a trip! it's almost the same freaking day but one thing changed the whole experience...

i started my day thinking that i will be spending around 1G for auto service cause it's long overdue now and i dont want to stall on the freeway.... well at least it got reduced to around 700 by removing some services.... and the bonus part they let me use their car so that i wont have to spend extra for car rental... i wasn't so thrilled when i saw the car, it's the first toyota mr2 and it's a stick shift(i haven't driven a stick shift in ages and since i started using automatic)....just driving to work and going home i was playing with the car... even though you feel every pebble you run on to... it made the whole driving experience a whole lot of fun....the car was shaky, loud(since the engine is at your back), old, and filthy...this car made me feel like i'm driving my 75' lancer or my first time driving... even the car was that bad, it's still a bit powerful so i was double clutching on the freeway and flooring it... but at the back of my head i'm praying not to stall, not to loose any axle, drop the engine,crash or simple DO not DIE....good thing i'm still alive and i hope i can get my car tomorrow or else i will get a car rental...1 day is enough for this car..
