interesting saturday...

just like any other saturday... i started my day by watching some movies and some sitcoms....then i decided to check out some katagami at Craft and folk art museum (CAFAM) it was a pretty intertesting exhibit but the thing that made me stay longer in that museum is not the art itself it was the security guard who happen to be a filipino... at first when i was passing by him... he asked me if i;m a japanese or a filipino... of course i said i'm a filipino... and everything started from there... he asked me where the hell i used to live in the philippines and i said pasig... and he told me that he worked in that area... and he started mentioning these companies that i never heard of and he asked me of my surname and he was telling me that my surname originates from his province and trying to convince me that we have the same province... but i grew up with out any province (i wish i had one) but i grew up in the city and my parents are from the same place so there is no way that any of my relatives roots from any province... but that's not all... he started sharing all these experiences of his in marikina (the town where my parents grew up) and he was telling me where he had his first experiences... (actually i just want to walk out from him)... he was telling all these vulgar words loudly but in filipino(take note we are inside the museum).... he kept on repeating "PUKE" and "kantot"... i think he is just a freaking pervert who want to show the world how many girl he banged despite his age... and he even told me that he banged a 17 year old at his age of 58.... i just kept on smiling all trough out the conversation... it lsted about 20 - 30 mins... and all the time it's about gambling and cheating on his wife... well.. maybe he just miss talking to a fellow filipino.. or maybe it's just in his nature to flaunt about his pervert adventure... but i dont care... he seems to be really friendly..... and its nice to meet a fellow filipino who greets a fellow kababayan once in a while even in the most weirdest places... so after that very unusual interaction... i went home... and try to get some rest after an hour and a half of drive from downt town...... so to prepare my self for some drinking at heroes cause it's the birthday of my officemate... cause i said i would try... and for the record i never flaked out on anything unless i say NO... but surprisingly i'm the only one who showed up for work... and so i just tried to finish two glasses of large beer that is pretty pricy but i dont care... i got my buzz anyway.....but still i just feel sad for that guy who was celebrating his birthday.. cause i the only one who showed up... and he is more closer to those other people at work.. maybe i'm the only one who got nothing to do that time... and yeah i look so stupid just drinking alone... cause i dont know anybody in there.... well.. there's always first time for everything.... and i swear this will not happen again.... if there would be a second time of me getting drunk alone in a bar... i will leave within the first minute.... putting everything aside... the only thing that's making me pretty fulfilled is my triple chilicheese burger from tommy's and a side of chilicheese fries.... TOO MUCH FAT AND CALORIES>>>>>it's done..now FUCK OFF!!! thanks for wasting youre time... (if there are typos shut up! im drunk!)

Every day I hear this acronym FOB which is labeled for Asians who migrated here…yeah I’m one of them… so what… I don’t care…. But it made me think… After staying here for more than a year now and be able to go around places… there’s nothing much that really interest me…when it comes to culture and food the best ones are the ones that originated from other countries… all American food wouldn’t amaze a foreigner’s palate I think… so what makes this place good after all? Is because of the merging of different cultures in one spot just like here in California? I remember a part of that line in THE GOOD SHEPERD when that Italian guy asked Matt Damon “you Americans what do you have?” and his only answer is “we have America and all of you are just visitors” which is true but these visitors are the one that brings life to this place… just go to down town LA, people don’t go there to see the buildings cause its ugly I think Makati looks better and more safe Ortigas too, people go there because of K town, Japanese mall, China town, clubs, and shopping…. So where am I going with these rants? Actually I have no idea…its up to you what to think… and by the way I don’t need any feed backs, cause I don’t think anyone would even bother to read this to start with…


Oh yeah! America occupied Philippines for 50 years(am I right?) it’s just I don’t remember anything that was added in our history except for the line of that Mc Arthur guy “I shall return”….

everyday question

Every time someone asks me when will I go back to the Philippines, I want to answer them…NOW!!! The only thing that is holding me back is the political situation in there. Even though the government in here is not as good I’d rather stay here for a while for the simplest reason of being safe and earn something good. As much as I miss that country it’s the stupid things people do in there that makes the situation worse.

at last i have been able to cut my travel time by fifteen minutes... from 40 minutes i have been able to reach my house within 25.... but the thing is i was driving at an average of a hundred... with that i could get a ticket and i could be convicted with felony... but i'm just lucky i didn't get any ticket... though i wasn't as lucky at work.. cause i screwed up with some solutions that i have to prepare and i have to redo it tomorrow... well.. that's it... stupid eh?

since my dad doesn't take freeways i have to drive to Valencia cause they are having a small gathering with his classmates back in grade school.... i just cant believe how could they keep in touch with each other through these years... and they will have their 50th anniversary next year.... me and my dad are both into hanging out with friends but the difference between us is that i don't even bother to contact people who i haven't seen in years.... i can detach myself easily and most of the time i never try to exert some effort to have some sort of reunion... and i haven't been to any of my high school reunion... just because i don't give a damn... but seeing my dad and his friends get together and hear them talk about the good old days....they could even remember how they hate their classmate's mannerisms....and who wears shoes, bakya and who goes to school barefooted...(back in their days... shoes is a luxury....) it's just nice to see them still trying to connect with each other and just hang out.... they are all in their 60's and it think gatherings like this should be done religiously...... i bet my parents miss these kind of get together since they use to meet up with different friends twice or thrice a week with their friends in the Philippines.... sometimes they could even beat me on how often they hang out with their friends....well... its just a nice day....but the drive was soooo tiring... damn!

as i'm sitting here... typing sippin' my sapporo beer and draft sake.... enjoying a sake bomb.... i just got a great idea....

cause.. lately i've been eating a lot... just because there are nice food finds near my work... last time i went to Naan and kabob.... it's freakin great and for only 7.99 i got a whole lotta lovin' fucking rockin meal... wow.. it rhyme though it sounds cheesy....

back to my idea....

to those people who wants to loose weight fast you should try fruit and alcohol diet.... i dont know if it will work... but i'm sure it looks healthy cause of the fruits plus ur gonna enjoy it...being drunk while doing your diet is the best... i think there should be an alcohol drink that has 0% calories.... so that the calorie intake would only be coming from the fruits which makes it healthy.... hmm....

maybe just maybe.... in few weeks you will loose a whole lotta fuckin weight....
side effects... your internal organs are fucked up! and you are already an alcoholic.... nice....
